About Me
Hello there! My name is Su Yan and I am currently in my second year of studies as an undergraduate in the National University of Singapore.
I am in the School of Design & Environment, majoring in Project & Facilities Management (PFM), graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in PFM.
I have a passion for all things learning, and so I decided to create this website to try out coding/UXUI.
I hope that through this website, you are able to find out a little bit more about me. ☺️
Interests
I love music! I love the different beats that evoke different emotions and feelings of a piece, and how expressly unique each piece feels. With my interest, I have joined chorale through my Secondary and Junior College life. Generally, I am not the very sporty type of person but in University, I stepped out of my comfort zone to join Archery. Archery has been really fun so far and I have learnt a lot, such as mental resilience and focusing on the target and my breathing, and nothing else when I shoot. ☺️
I have always had the habit of jotting down the daily walks and journey in my journal since I was young, which inspired me to create this website; sort of a way to express myself.

Growing up, my family struggled financially. We often had to scrimp and save and . Since young, we valued the importance of saving and being financially literate. My family was also forward-looking and knew that studies would bring us far. In life, I had high expectations of myself and trudged through with my education. I am proud that I have managed to enter university on my own merits and I hope to continue being learner.
Currently
In Archery, I am currently the director of marketing and publicity right now - learning a multitude of skills such as designing (of shirts, shorts, posters, to Instagram Posts), liaising and keeping in close relations with our sponsors, and keeping peers, alumnus, and our contacts up-to-date on our Instagram and Facebook. Though with Covid-19 there has not been a lot of events that we can hold, I am really grateful for the chance to learn and direct new mini projects for the team.
